Candy Nostalgia

Wow! I couldn't believe it when littlest dd found these in her trick or treat bag! Pop Rocks! Before I knew it, the oldest ds had traded her for candy that she knew she'd like. Sneaky boy.

Whispers were coming from the the dining room and I knew trouble was brewing. I had heard our oldest dd call the other children in the dining room, but I had no idea what they were up to.
Then the oldest four walk in to the playroom, and stick their tongues out! They had decided to share the Pop Rocks! I just sat there in absolute amazement and the nostalgia set in. It seems just like yesterday when my brother and I enjoyed that same candy. I think my brother even tried to drink a can of soda one time and made himself sick! Isn't it funny how one packet of candy can make 20some years seem just like yesterday.

Santa - if you read my blog, can you get some of those for their stockings this year? They will definitely be a big hit!
