Hot Russian Tea! It is so wonderful that I had to share it with all of you. We visited a friends house before Christmas and the aroma hit me as I walked in the door. I immediately asked what the wonderful smell was. She handed me a hot cup of sweet & spicy smelling tea. It first I was skeptical, because I don't enjoy hot tea, but curiousity got the best of me. A few sips and the cup was gone. I think I enjoyed two cups before leaving that evening. (And, of course, I asked for the recipe) Luckily, she was willing to share! I'm glad she is the sharing type! Anyhow, here is the recipe. ENJOY!
HOT RUSSIAN TEA
1 cup instant tea (decaf, if you prefer)
2 cups Tang
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
3/4 cup of Lemonade mix
1 1/2 cups sugar (or less)
3/4 tsp allspice
Mix all together and keep in tightly covered jar.
Use approx. 2 heading teaspoons for one cup of tea.
