I just know you are dying to know how my oldest did on Saturday! She did GREAT! In fact, she did so well that she's qualified for the next round of quizzing, in Boston! BOSTON! We are thinking about traveling there for her to compete against other qualifiers. It will be a long drive, but we are considering making it an educational trip as well. I've never seen the Statue of Liberty in person and it would be a great experience for the kids to have as well. So, we might take the trip and have some fun along the way!
Either way, we are so proud for her! She didn't even miss her first question till question 19. There were 40 questions total. The questions were from Acts chapters 1 - 20.
The traveling part does make me nervous! I think we might have to invest in a DVD player for the van. I don't think we can make a 14 hr drive without one. Unless we pack some straight jackets...not sure who'd end up using them! Just kidding!

If you have a laptop with a DVD player, you can get an adaptor to plug into your vehicle. Then, use bungee cords to strap it open to the back of a seat. (We did that for a few years.) Also, you can get travel DVD players from WalMart that can strap to the back of a seat. There are 2 screens...you can also plug in video games. Good luck.
