The Lamb House is a nonprofit ministry that we are privileged to be a part of. Some friends came to us a yr ago and said..."God has put this on our hearts and we want to make help available to the people who need food and clothes when money is tight." We were so honored to be included in this vision! It has been almost a year since the very first conversation we had in my living room for what is now called The Lamb House. It is amazing to me how the Lord has blessed and continues to bless this ministry. Just last week we learned that the Virginia District, which consists of 90 churches, has chosen The Lamb House as their compassionate ministry of the year! I could hardly speak I was so taken back! Some of you might not understand the significance of this, but this is HUGH! I am so excited to see what God is going to do and watch as He works. I'll let you know in August how things go, in the mean time, please pray for us, The Lamb House, and all the people we minister to each week. We want to do everything for God's glory, whether it's the handling of donated clothes or money given to us for food at the Food Bank. I'm reminded of an old song, "It is no secret what God can do, what He's done for others He'll do for you..." I'm claiming that promise!
