Are you wondering why I have Cootie pictures up with the Back To School title?

What do Cooties and school have in common?

Well, ordinarily nothing, but around here anything is possible!

This week the "K Academy" started back to school. I have been planning since we came home from HS convention in hopes that everything was covered and organized BEFORE school started. I have spent the last 2 years organizing as I went along throughout the year and it just wasn't very successful, so this year I spent all my "free" time planning. It has paid off - being organized has made life less stressful. The one thing I wasn't planning for was how long it took us to get rolling. I kept telling littlest that I would be with her in a minute.."in a minute, sweetie". I felt like it was all I had to say to the sweet thing all day. I felt terrible for her. I knew that after a couple days our new school schedule would kick in and time wouldn't be so crammed full, but try telling that to any 4 yr old and see what you get. She didn't complain about Mommy's time being packed with everyone else's needs. She didn't say a word....until Wed morning. I awoke to see her standing next to my bed with the Cootie game in her arms. What was I supposed to say? Nothing except, "Jump up here, little miss and let's play!" So, Cooties and Back To School do go together in our house! BTW- MB won the game, but she made me finish my cootie anyway! Her cootie is the one with the hair bow and buck teeth...hilarious (it reminds me of my 6th grade school picture!) and...mine is the other - I hope you figured that out!
