It is hard to believe that it is really 2009! I remember when I thought life was the best it could ever be and that was in 1990's. I thought those were the best years and couldn't fathom anything after the year 2000. Now, here we are another year past 2000 and it still feels a little weird. Oh well...time marches on.
I wonder what 2009 holds for my family. No matter what it holds, "I know who holds tomorrow and I know He holds my hand." (That's an old hymn!) So, my friends rest in the knowledge that God knows what tomorrow holds and He will give us all the strength to get through what ever comes our way.
On the thought of get us through no matter what....I just heard that Rick Warren is going to pray at President Elect Obama's Inauguration. I'm not sure how I feel about that, but I guess it couldn't hurt!
May God look down on us, hear our cries and richly pour His protection and blessings on us all.
