Last night...

we all sat and watched Dancing with the Stars. The children watched and gave their opinions on how they thought the people danced...it was very interesting. There were so many comments that I finally had to tell them all to be quiet or leave the room. I have issues with people talking while I watch TV...it's a flaw, I know. We finally get everyone sitting quietly, when our 5 yr old daughter decides to make a comment on the lack of clothing Lil' Kim was wearing.

"She doesn't have a lot of clothing on." - said very matter of factly

"That is true" - I said

"It looks like something someone married would wear to bed." -said another

And now comes the kicker....our second daughter that is 9 says.....

"It's a whole 'nother world after the kids go to bed!"

David and I just sat there, with our mouths hanging open. It was hysterical! Of course, David had to repeat her statement, just to make sure I got it. I got it.

We put the kids to bed and soon headed up ourselves. David was reading on the bed and I was watching a little TV, when Lauren comes out of her room to go potty. As she gets ready to go back to bed, she turns and looks at me and says....

"Like I said before, it's a whole 'nother world after the kids go to bed."

Just wait till she gets married and has kids, then she'll know just how right she is!
