I can hardly believe that our oldest turned 11 yesterday! It really does seem like yesterday that I held her in my arms for the first time. I remember the wave of emotion that rolled over me that day. I'm sure most of you can identify. I couldn't wait to see her. On her due date, which is very odd, she decided to meet us! (We should have known she was a stickler for schedules!) Amazing....how time flies sometimes.
So, this is my first do-it-yourself birthday cake! I was proud and the b-day girl loved it! In case you can't see, that's Littlest Pet Shop on top. She picked them out and got an extra present out of it! Smart girl!
Some friends came over to share in the festivities and a girl sleepover! I finally got to bed at 2 am! But...I think they all had a blast.
Here's the gang...on our way out the door for church the next morning. I was amazed that we got EIGHT children out the door and all teeth brushed, hair combed and all fed by 845 am! I looked at Dh and said WOW. He looked at me and said, "I think we should have three more. We've proved we could do it. " All I could say was - "Bring it on, baby!"

Good job on the cake.It's so cute. Your kids are adorable. I definitely see a mixture of both of you in your oldest. All of them are beautiful.
