Genesis

I started reading Genesis this week. Honestly, I thought I knew the first few chapters by heart. After spending some in depth time in the first 4 chapters, I'm sure that I don't know all there is to know! I almost decided to skip them entirely, boy am I glad I didn't!

As I reread the creation story, mental pictures flashed across my mind. Can you imagine God sitting back at the end of the day smiling at the things He had created that day? Can you imagine how He must have felt on the sixth day, when He made man in His own image? I remember looking at dd1 for the first time. The love that swept over me was unbelievable. God must have felt the same way that day.

We were created to live in the Garden. We were created by love, for love, and in love. I can't wait to get back to what I was created for! If you haven't read Genesis in a while, try it! It's refreshing!
