For the Quiet Ride

My girls are gone this afternoon to a sewing class at the church. Dd1 has made a pillow, blanket and pj bottoms already and Dd2 is just beginning. I'm so excited for them! The lady who teaches the class is super and is so patient with the girls. I'm hoping she will teach me some things too, since I have a sewing machine and have no idea how to use it!

With the girls being out for the afternoon, it has been some what quiet and it's about to get quieter! The boys are getting ready to go to karate lessons and the two kids I babysit are going home within the hour! Dd3 will be the only one I need to look after until 6 pm! WOW!

The quiet ride to the soccer field will be like heaven! I cherish these moments. They don't happen very often around here. I'm not complaining, just making sure I cherish the quiet when it comes along. Once we arrive at the field, the craziness will resume and all will be back to normal. Well....at least our "normal".

I'm off to enjoy the time with dd3!
