1250 Miles in Four Days!

We just got back from a trek to good ole' Ohio. We traveled in two cars vs. the 15 passenger van. We had a ton of fun traveling with the kids, staying in hotels, swimming in pools, and watching endless movies in the back seat of the cars. Which leads me to the person that invented the portable DVD player - thank you, thank you, thank you! I don't think we would have made it home with all the children without it- just kiddin'- but they would of had duck tape across their mouths at least!

This pic is in West Virginia. I loved seeing all the mountains! It was truely beautiful!

Here's me and Dh. He looked so good in his tux!

Below is all my "boys" together. Aren't they a handsome bunch!?

(The one on the far left got married this past weekend.)

Here I am with one of my very best friends. I love her so much. It was a blessings to see her home and visit with her kids, even if it was for an hour. She's one of those friends that, no mattter how long it been since you've seen them, it seems as if time has not passed. She loves me for who I am, accepts me warts and all, and spurns me on in my walk with Christ. When I am stumped by scripture, she's the one I call and we "chew" on it together. We talk about things that matter, things that make us better moms, better wifes and above all else better followers of Christ. I am blessed to have her in my life.

Going to Ohio was the awesome! And I even if I am tried today, and playing laundry catch-up is a bear, I still will praise the Lord for a great, safe trip! He made our trip possible, enjoyable and truely wonderful.

Looks like you all had a great time!

I will be praying for you and your family as you get prepared to enter the ministry. Jeremy feels the Lord leading him in missions work and let him know that it is time to leave the pastorate at our church. He definitely does not want to leave but I know the Lord has great things in store for us, and for you!

WOW....long trip. I don't blame you for splitting up into 2 vehicles. I know the gas was probably a bit better, but gosh...sometimes, you need to separate the cherubs. :D
