This play set a couple months ago was in someone else's backyard, but now it's in ours! A couple in our church purchased a new house and this was in the back yard. Their child is a teenager (go teens!) and said they had no need of it, and offered it to us for free! FREE! All we needed to do was get a few people over to take it down and transport it to our house. We did that and now, after a bit of time, it is completely put back together in our yard for our kids to enjoy.
Do you see the wooden fence behind littlest? That was given to us as well! It was free too! The same thing- come take it down, and you can have it! Now, the fence has been a little more challenging and has taken longer to get put up in our yard, but was a fence we could not have afforded.
Yesterday, I was looking at our back yard and thinking about how beautiful it is. Now, you might not think it's beautiful, with all the weeds and doggy p--p, and I'm sure my neighbors might argue it's beauty as well, but to me it is a picture. A picture of God's goodness and faithfulness. He really does grant us the desires of our heart and wants to give us good gifts. My backyard is the perfect picture of that.
I'm not sure what you're waiting for the Lord to provide for you, but I know if He'll do it for me, He'll do it for you, too!

WHOOHOO! Gotta love it when the Lord provides over and above what you ever dreamed possible. That is a beautiful playset!
Love ya!
This post is really beautiful. I really needed it. It reminds me to trust the Lord's timing and He will give me the desires of my heart if they are according to His will. Specifically....another baby! :)
I totally agree! It is amazing the things that God choooses to bless us with just becasue He loves us. I started this pregnancy with nothing for the baby (since I gave it ALL away) and different freinds have given me all that I need! I even found all of Taylor's baby clothes which I thought that I have given away years ago. God is awesome! I hope that your children enjoy the beautiful playset!! Thanks for the lovely post :)
that is awesome!
